The White Horse Gallop is a challenging 7'ish mile trail run along the bridle paths from Leighton Recreation Centre leading up to the top of Westbury Hill along the Imber Range path before getting up close and personal with the White Horse, then after circling around Bratton Camp descend back down into Westbury following the Wessex Ridgeway.
All finishers will receive a unique memento of the event.
Unfortunately the 2024 edition of the White Horse Gallop has been cancelled.

Prizes in the The White Horse Gallop are awarded to the following:
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd Man
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd Women
- 1st MV40 & 1st FV40
- 1st MV50 & 1st FV50
- 1st MV60 & 1st FV60
All finishers will receive a unique memento of the event.

The Race Headquarters are at Leighton Recreation Centre in Westbury (BA13 3PT). Car parking is limited at Leighton Recreation Centre but additional spaces are available in the Warminster Road car park (BA13 3PE) which is on the A350 from where it is a ten minute walk to the Race Headquarters.
There will be two drink stations on the course coming at approximately 2-miles and 5-miles, also there will be drinks at the finish.
