One hundred and sixty runners signed up for the White Horse Gallop Trail Run, which this year was hosting Race #1 of the Wiltshire Off-Road Race League and meant that the field had a strong presence from the local clubs. Leading the way around the challenging 8-mile course in a time of 51-minutes was Jake Stephens of Chippenham Harriers followed by Mike Parrott of Running for Time and Tim Lerwill of Avon Valley Runners.
In the Ladies race Justina Burles of Warminster Running Club took the honours with Michelle Maxwell of Chippenham Harriers and Emily Griffiths of Bath Amphibians close behind.
Age category awards went to: MV40 – Stuart Henderson of Corsham Running Club; FV40 – Laura Midwinter of Corsham Running Club; MV50 – Simon Rawlins of Royal Wootton Bassett Hounds; FV50 – Amanda Garton-Rea of Lonely Goats Running Club; MV60 – Phil Threfall from Edington; FV60 – Alison Collins of Corsham Running Club.
Chippenham Harriers took both the Mens and Ladies Team prizes
