The Great Chalfield 10K

The Great Chalfield 10K is staged on behalf of Broughton Gifford & Holt Scout Group and is a road race over a certified accurate 10-kilometre course through the picturesque countryside around Broughton Gifford and passing Holt Manor and Great Chalfield House. With all finishers receiving a medal.

The course is capable of producing some fast times with the current records being 32:42 set by Simon Nott of Calne Running Club in 2016 and 37:36 set by Ruth Barnes of Avon Valley Runners in 2015.

The Great Chalfield 10K run will next be held on Thursday 26th June 2025 starting @19:30.

Prizes in The Great Chalfield will be awarded to the following:

  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd Man
  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd Women
  • 1st MV40 & 1st FV40
  • 1st MV50 & 1st FV50
  • 1st MV60 & 1st FV60

All finishers in The Great Chalfield 10K will receive a medal for completing the course.
